About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Group Finance Brokerage Manager to oversee our brokerage operation across all of our branches.   Based at our dealership in Yatala, as head of our Finance and Brokerage department you will lead our team of four to ensure we are offering our customers the best possible service.  You will join an established, collaborative and successful team, and benefit from plenty of support from the wider business.

The role involves all aspects of managing a team that's spread across a number of locations, whilst also directly servicing a portfolio of accounts to keep your finger on the pulse.  Travel is required and suitable candidates must have an unrestricted C driver’s licence.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Establishing budgets, developing and executing sales plans to meet budget goals
  • Seeing finance applications through to settlement whilst adhering to compliance / AML guidelines within a specified timeframe
  • Establishing client limits and conducting annual reviews 
  • Responsibilities include all areas of compliance, computers systems, and Retail credit arrangements with Financiers 
  • Maintaining existing relationships with Dealer Principals and key personal through exceptional and professional customer service
  • Building new relationships/accounts with our key clients and associated professionals 
  • Coaching and maximising the performance of direct reports 
  • Ensuring continuous improvement by evaluating current needs and anticipating the future needs of the department and recommending changes or new provisioning to the CEO

About you:

  • Experience in a similar role managing a high performing team
  • Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking Management or equivalent tertiary education
  • Experience in financing heavy vehicle and agricultural equipment
  • Strong understanding of the transport and agricultural industries
  • Strong financial and commercial knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service and time management skills 
  • Proven sales record in a team environment
