About the Role

Join us as a Service Advisor in our Trailer Shed at our Caboolture dealership. You can enjoy the beauty of Queensland while building a rewarding career with an established and successful business. Our dealership exclusively sells and services premium brands Kenworth and DAF, ensuring you'll be representing high-quality products. In this role you will provide technical advice to our customers as well as supporting our team in the workshop. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing expert technical advice to customers and staff
  • Providing exceptional and professional customer service both on the phone and face-to-face in the Trailer Shed
  • Ensuring customer needs are met by correctly identifying the make, model and issues of their vehicle then advising them of the appropriate services
  • Providing quotes and invoices
  • Following up on service jobs and calling customers to advise them on delays and/or finish times and discussing technical information 
  • Dealing with trailer warranty policy adjudication and informing customers of expected costs and warranty coverage
  • Inspecting parts related to warranty claims and ensuring parts are dispatched
  • Assisting with warranty administration

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in a similar role at a truck, car machinery or agricultural dealership  
  • Mechanically-minded, problem-solver, team player, excellent communicator, strong attention to detail and organisational skills and intermediate computer skills
  • Truck mechanic qualification or other mechanic qualification – desirable but for the right person a trade qualification may not be necessary 
  • Kenworth or DAF experience (desirable)
  • We welcome mechanics looking to move into an office-based role.
