About the Role
Join us as a Truck Salesperson at our Mackay dealership. Located in Northern Queensland on Australia’s East Coast you’ll find a range of scenic environments such as rainforests or a section of the Great Barrier Reef, you can enjoy the beauty of Queensland while building a rewarding career with an established and successful business. Our dealership exclusively sells premium brands Kenworth and DAF, ensuring you'll be representing high-quality products. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you excel in meeting sales targets and fostering long-term customer relationships. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Achieving sales targets
• Expanding customer base and strengthen existing customer loyalty
• Canvassing assigned areas on a regular basis, as determined by your manager
• Cold calling and providing quotes to customers
• Refer all truck finance opportunities to the finance department
• Ensuring all truck sale paperwork is completed correctly and that trucks are delivered on time, as per customer order and clean
• Ensuring customer vehicle needs are met by correctly identifying the make, model and variation of the vehicle they require
• Developing an in-depth understanding of our products and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make more purchases
• Representing the company at trade fairs, shows, field days, customer nights

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record selling Kenworth, DAF and used trucks
• You should be passionate about the truck industry
• Sales driven, customer-focused, an excellent communicator, negotiator and a problem-solver
• You will need strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Intermediate computer skills
• A car licence is a must
