The Brown and Hurley Group are growing fast and want you to be part of our team in Rockhampton. In this role you will supervise the pre-delivery team, carry out pre-delivery services and fit-up jobs and assist in the effective operation of the Pre-Delivery Department.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supervising and educating the pre-delivery team on correct workplace processes and procedures such as accessory fitting, installations and changeouts 
  • Be the liaison between the service office and the floor – helping allocate, monitor and report on jobs
  • Liaise with Sales and the Parts Department to deliver desired outcomes
  • Inspection and sign off of jobs to ensure all work is carried out to the manufacturers’ requirements
  • Carry out pre-delivery services
  • Providing exceptional and professional customer service 
  • Ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy and that safe work practices are being followed

About you:

  • Experience in a similar role at a truck, car, machinery or agricultural dealership
  • Truck mechanic qualification or any other mechanic qualification 
  • Experience leading a team with strong leadership
  • Problem-solver, team player, excellent communicator with high level organisational skills 
  • Customer-focused with strong customer service skills
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills 
  • Quality workmanship
  • Post trade experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Kenworth or DAF experience (desirable)
