About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Accountant to join our Administration team based at our Head Office in Yatala.  This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an aspiring accountant who has recently completed studies in accounting. As a Graduate Accountant, you will gain practical experience in a supportive environment with exposure across a wide range of areas of the business.

You will be assisting in the following areas:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining and updating truck schedule for settlements
  • Reconciling floorplan accounts
  • Maintaining asset registers
  • Assisting with wage processing and posting journals to Dealer management system
  • Assisting with month end management reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation for various G/L accounts
  • Reviewing creditors to ensure Company guidelines are followed
  • Reviewing branch cash accounts and bank locations to ensure they are within Company guidelines
  • Ad hoc data analysis
  • Maintaining company expense reimbursement progamme
  • Assisting with account/admin queries from branches

 

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting or Bachelor of Accounting
  • Customer-focus, self-motivation and enthusiasiam
  • Excellent attentional to detail, communication and organisational skills 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Able to multitask
